The title of this program “Golden Rule” celebrates summer with an exotic mix of short pieces and folksongs from around the world and across genres.  Music has the wonderful ability to act as a bridge between cultures, art forms and emotion. I’ve called this program “Golden Rule” with reference to the principle of treating others as you want to be treated - an ethic of reciprocity.  Tonight we include a world premiere by Allison Loggins-Hull and African American poets in our Summer Playlist celebration.
